In the Community

At Santa Monica High School, Angela led the Santa Monica Black Student Leadership Initiative, securing $18,000 in funding to expand leadership and college-readiness opportunities through the United Black Student Unions of California.

She also co-wrote a $20,000 City Equity Grant that funded the school’s first-ever College Expo in partnership with the National College Resources Foundation.
